Developed through many years of research and development, Vertuo has revolutionised the way that coffee is extracted with its unique, patented Centrifusion™ technology and a specially crafted, dedicated set of coffee capsules, which together enable customers to make a wide range of high-quality coffee in a variety of styles and cup sizes. The intelligent system uses barcode technology to recognize each of the 27 Nespresso coffees from its permanent range, adjusting the brewing parameters to extract each blend precisely how it was meant to be enjoyed.
You can make espressos to larger cups with Vertuo - from a short Espresso, a smooth Gran Lungo or an indulgent Coffee topped with smooth and generous crema. Behind the scenes, the technology uses gentle Centrifusion™ extraction, recognizing each capsule and adapting the parameters accordingly to create your perfect coffee style.
With Original, you can also enjoy the same smooth, authentic taste of your coffee in shorter Espresso and Lungo sizes and espresso-based café style milk recipes such as Cappuccinos and Lattes. Original machines use a high-pressure 19 bar extraction system to release the fresh aromas from each capsule.
Vertuo is an intelligent system that adjusts the brewing parameters to each coffee capsule type, to extract every drop of flavour and deliver rich, smooth crema on top. The unique barcode on each capsule type is tied to an automatic extraction parameter, that regulates volume of water, temperature, wetting / infusion time and capsule rotation. You can brew with precision, your favourite coffee style with ease, time after time.
The descaling frequency depends on the machine usage and the water hardness, which varies based on how often coffee is consumed in the household and the water of that particular location. The general rule is every 300 cups of coffee.
To remain the lifetime of your machine. Please avoid opening the machine head while the coffee is brewing and kindly wait until the coffee button goes back to the steady white color. If you would like to stop the brewing process, please press the button once and wait until the button goes back to the steady white color. We recommended to perform a weekly rinsing process to keep your machine hygiene by follow the process from the user manual comes with the machine.
